Yada Sarttarasathit Harel was appointed as the first Chief Digital and Marketing Officer (CDMO)for L’Oréal Thailand in July 2019. With over 20 years of experience in multinational organizations and 17 years with L’Oréal, Yada has established herself as a distinguished leader in the field.
Over the course of her career with L’Oreal, Yada has been given the responsibility for 3 international assignments. Started at L’Oréal Thailand in Feb 2008 as a Product Manager for Skincare, in 4 years she expanded her expertise across multiple categories and brands, including cosmetics, haircare, and hair coloring.
In 2012, Yada became one of the first Thai talents appointed to L’Oréal’s Global Headquartersin Paris as a Senior Regional Marketing Project Manager. She later continued her role in the APAC office in Shanghai, with the scope expansion. In 2015, she returned to Thailand to assume the newly created position of Marketing Director for Makeup, where she led the strategic direction for multiple brands.
In 2018, Yada took on the role of Country Digital Director, with a focus on driving digital acceleration for the group. Her exceptional performance led to her promotion in July 2019 to Chief Digital and Marketing Officer (CDMO). For the past years, Yada has been at the forefront of L’Oréal’s transformation agenda, leveraging digital innovation, e-commerce expansion, media excellence, advocacy & content, consumer intelligence, and in-house data & analytics capabilities to solidify L’Oréal’s position as the leading Beauty-Tech company in Thailand.
Beyond her role at L’Oréal, Yada contributes as a curriculum consultant for marketing programs at Thammasat University and Bangkok University. She is a respected figure in the marketing community, frequently invited as a judge, panelist, and keynote speaker at industry events.
Yada is from Thailand. She is married and has two wonderful daughters. She enjoys coaching her daughters to grow up – her family enjoys travelling anytime possible.
