Peter Sloterdyk is the Chief Marketing Officer of Gist, where he leads global brand strategy, marketing, and growth. His work centers on shaping how, when, and where information is discovered, attributed and monetized in generative AI. Sloterdyk brings more than two decades of marketing leadership across technology, media, and consumer platforms, with a track record of scaling emerging companies into trusted global brands. Prior to his current role, Sloterdyk served as Global Chief Marketing and Technology Officer at Koala, the Australia-founded direct-to-consumer furniture brand, where he helped guide the company’s international expansion and marketing strategy. Before that he led original series marketing efforts at Netflix, devising campaigns that expanded the platform’s international audience. Additionally, he led the global marketing organization for the Grindr family of brands, overseeing worldwide marketing, user growth, and brand strategy during a period of rapid international expansion. His leadership helped scale Grindr into one of the largest social networking platforms, supporting its global growth leading up to its acquisition by Kunlun Tech.
