Taranjeet Kaur is the Head of Media for Tata Consumer Products India.
She is responsible for media planning and buying, digital marketing & brand pr ,in her role. With more than 20 years of rich media experience across different agencies and corporates like Nielsen, RKS BBDO, OMD, GSK, Reckitt Benckiser, Piramal Healthcare. She has handled 40+ brands in her career; like Abbott, Visa, Rasna, SC Johnson, Faber Castell to name a few.
A post graduate from SIMC, Pune ,she was the winner of Cannes Media Lions 2008. She led the most awarded media innovations for GSK and VISA and set the bar high for the industry.
Early on digital, she led the first ever, 5sec skip ad in India in 2014 for Horlicks, which set a new standard for the industry. Her expertise in building efficiency models thru programmatic and tech stack solutions has been a catalyst in getting new innovations.
In her current role, she leads the use of AI in digital marketing for building and nurturing brands. She’s elevated the use of AI in marketing by building use cases for speech, generative, face and content AI along with AI for media optimization. She has also led many purpose driven campaigns like Banega swach, mission paani and jaago re, in her career.
An avid traveler, photographer, Taranjeet spends most of her time reading and watching videos about diverse topics and cultures where she can gather some new consumer insights and behavior.
