Vinay has over 20 years of experience in the in the Cloud computing, AI, Internet, Mobile, Digital Media, Software and Tech industry in a variety of roles in India and the US. Currently, he is part of the global business development function at Microsoft structuring large, complex partnerships in the areas of Cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Services, Chat Bots, Search content and Search distribution in India.

He has spent over 15 years at Microsoft in various consumer businesses including Bing, MSN, Windows, Edge Mobile Browser, among others. He led business development for Microsoft’s consumer search engine Bing in Asia Pacific, Australia and Japan and partnered with content companies, mobile handset OEMs and mobile ISVs. Vinay was a SVP at Times Internet Ltd driving Corporate Strategy and has been in CXO roles in startups in the mobile advertising and ed-tech segments.

is a Wharton MBA and a Computer Science graduate from BITS Pilani (India). He is a Tie charter member and chairs the IAMAI AI and Big Data Committee.
