Fondly known as Samar, he plays the CEO role for Iksula and is responsible for driving growth, expanding market share and rightly positioning Iksula in the e-retail and Omni channel space.

Samar is an e-commerce veteran having started in this space in 1999. He has a passion for founding and starting ventures, Iksula being his 3rd start-up. He was in the founding team of the erstwhile chai time, and the leadership team of Baazee.com, which was later acquired by eBay.

He has been honored as one of the ’50 Best Digital Marketing Professionals’ for his contribution and achievements towards the industry at the Mobile & Digital Media Marketing Summit. He has also been recognized for his ‘Outstanding Contribution to E-retail’ by The Indian Retail Awards.

He holds a B. Tech in Electronics & Instrumentation and has done an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Goa Institute of Management. He is a cricket fanatic, and you never want to be on the other side of a cricket bet with him.
