Alex is the MD of Omnicom’s mobile division across EMEA and leads our agencies approach to ‘mobility’.  Alex has been working in mobile since 2006, and has lived through the huge shift in consumer behaviour and associated brand disruption first hand. He was Omnicom’s first ever dedicated mobile employee and founded our mobile dept in the UK.  In 2011 Alex was promoted to his current cross group and internationally focussed role.  Subsequently, Alex has been shaping and developing all OMG companies approach to mobility, helping develop a product set that ensures we are able to lead the conversation and advise our multi-national clients on how to maximize new business opportunities offered by today’s rapidly developing mobile technologies.  He now manages a specialist team that delivers mobile centric technologies, products and innovative business solutions for our clients.   During this period he has overseen the transformation of our capability from media to full service delivery in this area.  

Alex is a recognised industry figure speaking at events such as the GSMA Mobile world congress, Doubleclick’s CAB event, various IAB, MMA and DMA events.  Alex also sits on Microsoft’s mobile advisory committee, and the IAB’s mobile leadership council.  His work has been recognised through various award wins including Cannes Lions, Festival of Media, EFFIES, Campaign and Marketing Week amongst others.  He has recently been voted as the 3rd most influential person according to the DRUM in the mobile sector today.
