Carol Basile, Chief Financial Officer, Mobile Marketing Association

Carol Basile is the Chief Financial Officer of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA).  Basile is a member of the company's senior leadership team where she oversees and directs all significant aspects of the company's financial controls, financial and tax reporting, and the association's annual budgeting and financial planning processes.  In 2009, she led the MMA through its first external audit of the financial statements which required updating the association’s accounting methodology to bring the organization in full compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Basile brings 20 years of experience in financial leadership roles from a wide variety of non-profit and member organizations as well as from government and private sector positions.  Prior to joining the MMA, Basile was the Director of Finance for the Professional Bowlers Association, the Washington Wine Commission and the Regional Loan Corporation, the Deputy Director of Finance for the City of Bainbridge Island WA, and the Business Manager for Sloan Capital Companies.  She started her career working for the Pittsburgh, PA office of Deloitte & Touche where Basile earned her Pennsylvania CPA license while auditing clients that included Rockwell International, PPG Industries and Duquesne Light.  She holds a B.S. in Business Administration (accounting emphasis) from San Diego State University.
