Nirupama Subramanian is the Founder & CEO of Powerfulife Solutions and Co‑Founder of GLOW (Growing Leadership of Women). A seasoned leadership facilitator, executive coach (ICF‑PCC certified), and author, she brings over 25 years of experience in leadership development, change management, and personal transformation.
Her corporate journey began in finance at Citibank and led to setting up AchieveGlobal India and serving as a training consultant at Genpact. Since 2010, she has been an experienced facilitator with McKinsey & Co./Aberkyn.
Nirupama has trained over 25,000 leaders across more than 60 organizations and conducted more than 800 workshops, delivering real business impact alongside personal growth. She created the Powerfulife Assessment—the first validated psychometric tool tailored for women in South Asia—and authored Powerful: The Indian Woman’s Guide to Unlocking Her Full Potential (HarperCollins, 2021), along with two bestselling novels, Keep the Change and Intermission. Her forthcoming book, The Nurturing Quotient, is slated for June 2025.
She also co‑founded the non‑profit My Daughter is Precious, serves on various advisory boards, and is an engaging TEDx speaker committed to gender equality and inclusive leadership.
