Mexico City – May 11, 2023: Teads, the leading omnichannel media platform, announced today the appointment of Mayra Contreras as General Manager in Mexico. Mayra will lead this high-growth market for the organization following Teads’ recent announcement of the expansion of its connected TV (CTV) offering in Mexico and other key regions globally. Effective immediately, Mayra will report to Jeremy Arditi, co-CEO of Teads. Mexico is one of six key markets in Latin America where Teads has expanded its operations over the past decade, including Miami.
Mayra is an experienced executive in the tech industry and one of the few senior Mexican leaders in this sector, with over 28 years of experience in digital strategies. She returns to Teads Mexico as General Manager after previously holding the position from 2017 to 2022. During her previous tenure, she built and led a strong team, increasing its size by 110%, and positioned the company in the Mexican market as a trusted and effective media partner. Mayra’s leadership was instrumental in establishing Teads among the top three digital advertising platforms for renowned global brands, demonstrating her ability to drive effective and innovative results. Before joining Teads, she worked with leading tech brands, including Spotify, where she held marketing roles such as Account Director. She later joined Google as Head of Industry for six years and then moved to Microsoft, where she served as Sales Marketing Manager.

Mayra has been recognized by CEO magazine and was honored as one of the Women Leaders by Ad Age and AdLatina. She was also named one of the Top CEOs by Merca2.0. As a strong advocate for social impact, Mayra served as Director of Citizen Engagement at the México SOS organization, where she implemented programs supporting the use of technology. She also co-hosted the daily radio program “Charlas Informativas Sobre Tecnología” with El Heraldo de México columnist Carlos Mota.
