Shankar has over 18 years of experience in the Consumer Marketing and Financial Services space in India. A graduate of St Stephen's College and IIM, Ahmedabad, he has served in organisations such as GSK Consumer Healthcare, CitiFinancial and Aviva Life Insurance. Prior to joining Paytm, he worked as the Head of Marketing and Direct for ICICI Lombard General Insurance. He has two young daughters -aged 11 and 6- and his wife teaches in Delhi Public School.
