From a writer to a graphic designer and art director, from a traditional creative to a digital innovator, from a creative mind to a strategist and business leader, ‘change’ and ‘transformation’ have defined Paruj’s entire career.

Paruj began his journey in advertising as a copywriter at a small agency in Bangkok. Ten months later, he traveled to the USA to pursue a degree in graphic design. Afterward, he worked at a local ad agency in Savannah, Georgia, before moving to Boston, Massachusetts, where he joined a design firm.

Returning to Bangkok, he started the second phase of his career as an art director at D’Arcy (DMB&B). His talent and drive soon led him to become a creative director at Lowe Bangkok, followed by a role at Ogilvy & Mather Thailand.

The third phase of Paruj’s career was shaped by his move to the Leo Burnett Group Thailand. Initially joining as a creative director, he quickly advanced to executive creative director and became a member of the executive committee. In 2018, he transitioned to the role of managing director for Digitas Thailand. Under Paruj’s leadership, Digitas Thailand experienced double-digit growth in 2018 and 2019 and maintained solid performance through the COVID years. He was then appointed as Group Co-CEO of Publicis Groupe Thailand in 2022 and moved to a Chairman role in 2024.

As a creative professional, Paruj has won numerous awards from prestigious institutions such as Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, London International Awards, Epica Awards, Spikes Asia, AdFest, and AdStar, in addition to all of Thailand’s local awards. He has served as a juror at many international award shows, including Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, Adfest, New York Festival, AdStar, Smarties APAC, Hong Kong’s Kam Fan Awards, and Indonesia’s Citra Pariwara Awards.

Paruj’s extensive experience with international brands spans across both creative and business leadership roles, working with renowned companies like Samsung, P&G, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Lazada, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Chevrolet, MG, and Lotus’s (CP Group), to name a few.

Currently, Paruj serves as the president of the Digital Advertising Association (Thailand) / DAAT. His thought leadership in Thai digital marketing includes serving on judging panels for several well-known award events, being invited as an honorary lecturer at leading universities and both private and government organizations, and speaking at major marketing events in Thailand.
