Scott Hause is Vice President of Research, Analytics, and Insights for AT&T’s Marketing and Growth Organization. In this role, he leads a team that is responsible for generating research and analytics that drive action and enable AT&T to enhance our brand and profitably grow market share and revenue.

Scott joined DIRECTV in December 2005 to help create a brand new Consumer Research and Competitive Intelligence function within DIRECTV. Impactful insights provided by this new team helped fuel a +6 million increase in U.S. net subscribers and ~4X growth in stock price.

In January 2013, Scott joined DIRECTV’s Revenue Strategy and Planning (RS&P) team. In this role, he led development of Geo-Competitive market strategies. In 2014 and 2015, Scott was part of the leadership team that integrated and launched LifeShield Home Security. Responsibilities included: packaging, pricing and offer strategy; product roadmap; Revenue / ARPU; and technician carry of LifeShield equipment.

In September of 2015, with the merger of DIRECTV & AT&T, Scott was selected to lead Research and Competitive Insights across AT&T’s Consumer Businesses (e.g., Postpaid, Prepaid, Fiber, Premium Video). In this role, he led a team of professionals to develop comprehensive, data driven analyses to solve critical business questions across a wide variety of marketing objectives, including customer acquisition, retention and market share; pricing, packaging and offers; next generation product development; customer/prospect advertising, messaging & communications; and retail store insights.

In April 2019, Scott’s leadership responsibilities expanded to include responsibility for AT&T Consumer’s Media Performance analytical function. This includes measurement and optimization of marketing media, including marketing mix modeling (MMM), multi-touch attribution (MTA), spend optimization, in market testing, and analytic support of digital paid media, acquisition and direct marketing, and cross-sell marketing.

In recent years, Scott’s leadership responsibilities have widened to include responsibility for AT&T Business’s Customer Experience / NPS monitoring, Market / Flow Share and Brand Health tracking for both AT&T Consumer and Business, Consumer Audience Analysis and Test and Learn, and Insights and Foresights.

Prior to joining the company, Scott worked at A.T. Kearney as a Principal in their Strategy and Organization consulting practice. In his 6 years at A.T. Kearney, he developed and implemented top-line growth strategies for numerous multinational businesses and entrepreneurial ventures in the high-tech, telecommunications, and entertainment sectors. He led 20+ strategy development and market studies, focused on customer segmentation & targeting, product/service line extensions, and geographic market entry.

Scott holds a Bachelors of Aerospace Engineering (cum laude) as well as an MBA from the University of Michigan (graduated with distinction). He is based in El Segundo, CA.
