Alvin is the Founder and CEO of Kernel Future, a research and training institution that empowers youth to digitize MSMEs in Indonesia. His venture has been recognized with a Silver award at the prestigious Campaign Asia Pacific Startup Media Awards and is currently a finalist for the CMAA (Content Marketing Awards Asia Pacific) 2026 by MARKETECH APAC in the Education category. His work has been featured in Kompas, Antara News, TVOne, Warta Ekonomi, Kontan, Jawa Pos, and Republika, among other national media outlets.
Prior to founding Kernel Future, Alvin spent over four years at WPP Media, where he was promoted to Performance Programmatic Manager for Australia and New Zealand. He specialized in developing data driven pitch strategies and custom analytics dashboards for major global accounts. He designed and deployed a blockchain based analytics dashboard for real time campaign tracking, significantly improving budget agility and audience targeting accuracy. He also led and mentored a team of specialists, contributing to regional campaign strategy and performance governance for key FMCG accounts across ANZ and SEA.
Earlier, as Optimisation Manager at TikTok Shop (Tokopedia), Alvin led regional data analytics initiatives that drove a 125% increase in user base within a year and unlocked IDR 2B+ in monthly incremental revenue. He executed full funnel digital campaigns across DV360, Meta Ads, and Google Ads, increasing brand awareness, consideration, and purchase intent, validated via brand lift studies.
Alvin's career began as an Undergraduate Legal Research Fellow at Gadjah Mada University, where he was awarded one of 10 prestigious research grants to study labour protections in bankruptcy cases, a foundation that informs his purpose led approach to business today.
A TEDx speaker on technology ethics, Alvin has delivered talks to global audiences on the ethical implications of future technology. He has also spoken at Tech in Asia and Marketing Fest Asia, and serves as a columnist for Katadata, SWA, Times Indonesia, and Kumparan, where he regularly provides thought leadership on digital branding, platform economics, and business strategy. He is also the author of the industry bestseller 'Panduan Data Driven Digital Branding', bridging econometric rigour with executive strategy.
Alvin holds a Bachelor of Business and Cyber Law from Gadjah Mada University, where he was awarded a highly competitive merit scholarship by the Ministry of Education, selected from the top 3% of applicants. He has been recognized with the 30 Under 30 Campaign Indonesia (2026) and the Best Paper Award (3rd Place) at ISST 2025. He speaks Malaysian, Indonesian, English, German, and Russian.
