Ann Mukherjee is a seasoned C-Suite executive specializing in transforming global companies by leveraging demand driven growth to drive competitive advantage. Most recently, Ann served as Chairman and CEO, Pernod Ricard NA, the second largest spirits company in the world. Prior to Pernod Ricard, Ann was Global Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer of the largest privately held CPG company, SC Johnson, overseeing businesses in over 90 countries. Ann has also served as President, PepsiCo Global Snacks and served as CMO for Frito-Lay NA.
Ann has also served on the boards of Mondelēz, Hertz and Sabra. In 2020, President Trump appointed her to the Economic Recovery Committee during COVID and she has also worked with President Clinton as part of the Clinton Climate Change Initiative.
Ann currently is the program director for the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago responsible for educating the next generation of Global CEOs. She believes CEOs of the future can’t be seen just as “all knowing” but develop skills to be “all learning” in a world of constant change and ambiguous volatility.
Most recently, Ann founded her own film company to fund and produce films that reflect socially-conscious, emotionally-layered stories. Ann wants to champion those who need a voice and who are today, innocent and voiceless. She has completed her first feature film in India is in production for her first US film with Netflix.
Over her 30 year career, Ann has received several recognitions including Forbes 50 over 50, AMA Marketing Hall of Fame, Ad Age Vanguard Award, Forbes Top 50 Most Influential CMOs, Brandweek’s Marketer of the Year, ADCOLOR Legend Award. She has been highly awarded at the Cannes Lion Festival, and also has served as Jury President for Creative Effectiveness and as a member of the coveted Titanium Jury.
Ann is a graduate of the University of Chicago. She earned her bachelors in 1987 in both Economics and Religious Theology. She earned her MBA from the Booth School of Business in 1994. She currently serves on Booth’s Dean’s Council and the Kilts Marketing Steering Committee and was awarded the Distinguished Alumni award in 2022.
