The MMA SMARTIES Awards are the world’s only innovation awards recognizing marketing campaigns and solutions that drive measurable business impact. As a member of the Qualifying Jury, you will join an esteemed panel of industry leaders and experts to evaluate SMARTIES Awards entries. We value your time and will only ask for what is essential to ensure a rigorous and high-quality judging process.

Your expertise and perspective will play a critical role in identifying and recognizing excellence across the industry.

Key Dates and Information:

The online judging will be conducted from September 18 to October 1. 
Please note: To ensure fairness and objectivity, you will not be able to judge your company’s campaigns if your company is a participant in the SMARTIES program. 

Criteria:

  • Seniority: Chairpersons, Directors, C-level Executives, GM’s, Founders/Co-Founders, Head of Departments and Senior Leaders – from brands, agencies, technology providers, media and publishers.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in the advertising and marketing industry, with strong knowledge of global, regional and/or local markets.
  • Commitment: Willingness to dedicate time and actively engage in the judging process, including supporting the program through your professional networks.
  • Objectivity: Ability to evaluate entries impartially, free from conflicts of interest, and based solely on merit.

Final selection will be made by the Advisory Council and the MMA Global team.

The qualifying juror is obligated to evaluate a minimum of 45 submissions for each programme. If you select 2 markets, e.g., Europe and DACH, you would be screening 45 entries per market. By accepting this role, you are committing to dedicate sufficient time to thoroughly review the specified number of entries for each programme.
