Dedi Kusuma Wijaya is an urban strategist and organizational leader working at the intersection of city development, public engagement, and strategic communications. He is currently involved in leading initiatives through Karsa CityLab and previously contributed to transformative urban engagement efforts through Plus Jakarta, a city branding and collaborative platform that fostered public participation in shaping Jakarta’s urban narrative.
With experience spanning organizational transformation, community activation, leadership development, and urban discourse, Dedi has worked across government, civic, and creative ecosystems to design initiatives that connect storytelling, public trust, and social impact. His work focuses on how narratives, campaigns, and collaborative platforms can mobilize communities and strengthen civic participation in rapidly evolving urban environments.
Prior to his current work, he was involved in organizational transformation initiatives at PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol and began his professional career in organizational and human capital consulting. He is also part of the broader Indonesia Mengajar network initiated by Anies Baswedan, which shaped his perspective on leadership, education, and social impact.
Dedi’s interests include strategic communications, city branding, community-driven engagement, and the role of narrative in building meaningful public movements.
