

With his 20 years of expertise as a marketer in the financial services industry (HSBC, Bank Mega, PermataBank, and OCBC), Amir believes in right-left brain integration to fully seduce consumers yet drive sales. He always strives to be a design-thinker/marketer who can solve analytically and a strategist who can think innovatively. He received his first SVP posting when he was only 30 and has achieved 50+ marketing awards up to date. He was featured as one of the 40 under 40 2020 Campaign Asia as top-tier talent transforming Asia-Pacific marketing.
Amir is currently EVP Head of Marketing & Lifestyle Business at OCBC, where he is responsible for driving overall marketing initiatives and growth strategy from customer acquisition, mobile sales, branding, communication, media, channels, and digital marketing, to activation/sponsorship. He is also in charge of the lifestyle business from credit card solutions, digital loan, beyond-loyalty platform, to innovative strategic alliances & partnership.
He has earned accreditation from prestigious institutions such as Columbia Business School, Wharton Business School, Stanford Business School, Stanford D-School, UCLA Anderson x Cannes Lion-Marketer Academy, Omnicom x Singapore Management University-Spike Brand Manager Academy, and ACUCA Scholars.
He loves story-telling, influential presentations, having witty chats over coffee with partners, and leading brain-absorbing win-win negotiations with collaborators. He is a movie-freak and travel-junky who believes that "Life is a daring adventure!" as he wishes to travel around the world before he reaches 50.
