

Margot Torres is the Managing Director of McDonald’s Philippines, with a store network of over 760 stores. She celebrated her 20th year with McDonald’s last December 2023.
Her McDonald’s career began in Marketing, and was promoted to Deputy Managing Director, leading the Customer Experience Group in 2015, and Managing Director in 2018. Her leadership is marked by being a champion of creative excellence, digital transformation, and sustainability.
She also serves in the Board of Directors of RMHC Philippines whose advocacy is early education. She also sits on the boards of Philippine Business for Education and Kain Tayo Pilipinas.
Outside McDonald’s, she is a sought out thought leader. She has received recognition from the country’s top institutions including the Agora Award for Marketing from Philippine Marketing Association, 1st CMO of the Year Award from Tambuli, GAWAD PANATA Achievement Award from the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA), Campaign Asia’s Women Leading Change Award and CEO Excel Awards for Communication from the International Association for Business Communicators (IABC).
She served 2 terms as President of the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) and of the Digital Marketing Association of the country (DMAP).
During the pandemic, she was handpicked by the private sector to steer the communications for the public-private partnership initiatives in managing the country’s COVID-19 crisis, including the vaccination roll-out. She also led the zero-hunger movement called “Pilipinas Kontra Gutom”, in partnership with the government.
Margot is a champion of the next generation of leaders in and out of McDonald’s by volunteering as mentor and teacher. An advocate of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, she believes in no labels, equal opportunities for all. She is an active member of NextGen Organization of Women Corporate Directors and Filipina CEO Circle.
