Complaints

The MMA takes complaints very seriously especially when it comes to SMS spam. If you have a complaint about any type of mobile marketing which you have received, or know of someone who has then please take the following actions:

Step 1 - Email us at chairman.uk@mmaglobal.com with the following information:

Subject Title - Complaint

Please provide: Date you received the message
The number or wording in your inbox as it arrived
The full message itself
The type of handset you have (i.e. Nokia, Samsung, Motorola etc)
The mobile network you are with
Either a contact email or telephone number

Step 2 - If the message also requests that you call a premium rate number please also register your complaint with ICSTIS www.icstis.org.uk

Step 3 - Also let your mobile network provider know the above information

Whilst the MMA will endeavor to find out as much information as possible, the MMA can only take action against members who violate our Code. Companies operating outside of the MMA membership will be dealt with by the operators or by ICSTIS.
