Summary:
The primary objective behind adding an SMS call to action to our e-mail blasts is data acquisition through e-mail marketing. This effort would support the larger property initiative of building our SMS database.

E-mail marketing has proven to be our most profitable form of direct marketing. We currently hold over 1 million e-mail addresses in our e-mail database that we blast hotel offers to on a weekly basis. Using our most profitable marketing tool as a means to cross promote our mobile room offer to build our mobile database has proven to be a success. In a little over a month we nearly doubled our mobile database which started with 7,559 mobile phone numbers and now holds 13,909 subscribers.
