MEASUREMENT COMMITTEE
The Measurement Committee’s charter is to provide global leadership in the following areas: (1) Advertising Currency Definition & Quantification, (2) Mobile success definition as part of cross media marketing mix, and (3) White Paper/Education on importance of measurement to brand marketer engagement of mobile channel.

Current Activity

The Measurement committee is collaborating with partner organizations including the IAB-US and the MRC in the creation of Global Mobile Ad Measurement guidelines due for publication in mid-2010. These guidelines will be based on the Ad Currency Definitions document released by the MMA in 2008.  The guidelines will initially address two channels: Mobile Web and Messaging. Committee members will participate as reviewers, and can volunteer to contribute on one of two very active joint task forces.  The task forces meet monthly.
