Run The Red do Brasil: Account Director/Business Development – PSMS (Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Description
This is a great opportunity for a proactive, motivated sales orientated PSMS or content expert, ideally who is working or has worked for a PSMS Service Company, an aggregator or Telco. This position is a key role in ensuring Run The Red do Brasil consistently attracts and delivers high quality services that meet the clients expectations. There is a strong emphasis on sales, usability, customer service and delivery. You will be able to manage expectations across a variety of people, meet tight deadlines with consistently high quality work, juggle several projects at once and have a process-oriented approach while still maintaining a sense of humor. The position is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil working closely with all members of the team and day to day reporting to the Country Manager.
This position has no staff responsibilities.
This position has no budget responsibilities.
This position has a sales target of : TBC.
Background / Abilities
- Portuguese or Spanish speaker.
- University degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
- At least 3 years experience with Telecoms mobile industry, preferably experience with PSMS and content environments.
- A good understanding of consumer authorities.
- Strong knowledge of business flows & processes and technical documentation.
- Proficient in Office products (word, excel, powerpoint) and Visio.
- Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to gather all information required and to obtain buy in from a variety of parties in order to deliver.
- Clear and succinct communicator both verbally and in writing and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
- To be service focused, with an ability to anticipate things ahead of time and to be proactive in your approach.
- A great understanding of today’s technology – with an excellent understanding of the mobile technology environment.
- The ability to create and manage relationships with prospective and current customers.
Responsibilities
- Be the expert on both standard and premium SMS services, knowing the Telco requirements thoroughly.
- Understanding of mobile messaging mechanics and shortcode pricing.
- Responsible for negotiating and purchasing Media (TV, print online).
- Create Intellectual Property for Run The Red do Brazil. Essentially that is refine and or define sales document templates with an emphasis on proposals and requirements documents. e.g. Proposal Templates, Use Cases, Sales to Delivery Handover Templates.
- Provide support to other members of the sales team including concept development, solution description, pricing and timeframes.
- Key communication and coordination channel between all parties: sales, client, developers, media agencies and third parties i.e. aggregators to ensure the delivery of high quality products and solutions that meet the client’s needs.
- Provide account management to the Clients while their campaign is running, including issues resolution and reporting.
- Upon cessation of a campaign, provide internal report to Sales and Management identifying outcomes including any issues that may have arisen, areas for improvement and any new opportunities as a result of the campaign.
- In conjunction with the Reporting Analyst, analyse campaign data for trends and identify improvements to existing marketing, products or opportunities for new product development.
- Technical research of emerging technologies and research for the sales team.
- Be proactive in assisting other sales team members identifying and pursuing new customers in order to meet sales targets.
- Dealing with (serious) escalated complaints.
- Manage relations with Consumer authorities.
- Responsible for setting up the Customer Care.
