COMPANY
Privately held information services corporation with approximately four hundred employees in family friendly Northeastern college town with the best in educational, cultural and recreational venues. The company was founded in the early 1960s and has led its industry with technological advances. The company’s product is installed in approximately fifty television stations.

POSITION
The Director of TV and Sales Convergence reports to the VP of Sales and is responsible for direct supervision of a six person sales force.

CHALLENGE
Continue the Pace of Growth of the company’s products in an ever changing technological and station ownership environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strategic business partnership alliances.
Handle large customer applications and problems.
Organize consultative sales promotions.
Track record of meeting and exceeding Revenue Goals.
Successfully build, train and manage teams of local and national sales professionals.
Implement and manage Performance Standards and Systems.
Forecasting and budgeting P&L.



QUALIFICATIONS:

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Results oriented sales executive with a record of success in driving revenue growth, identifying new revenue streams and launching initiatives. Significant television and online experience in strategic alliances and customer marketing, branding and negotiations. An entrepreneurial thinker with expertise in strategic planning, new technologies and innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS
Strategic thinker who is dedicated to success and works tirelessly to deliver on tight deadlines.
Highly driven individual who is motivated by winning and by monetary reward.
Seasoned sales leader with at least ten years in sales management.
Knowledge of Television Station Environment. Has been employed by Vendors of TV hardware or software.
Possesses extraordinary relationship skills, both in working with customers and with motivating and driving a sales team.
Quick learner. Familiarity with Industry terms and acronyms.
Has a keen eye for talent and has successfully built high-functioning sales teams wherever he/she has worked.
Sets high standards for self and for team members and holds tight accountability to those standards.
Strong business acumen.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Negotiations expertise. Talent for putting together win-win deals.
Up to date computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint,
Internet, Social Networking and the ability to quickly learn any other necessary software skills.
College Degree.
