The Mobile Product Manager is a key member of NBC Universal's Technology Product Development Team within the Technology Growth Center and will be the driving force behind developing and launching SMS, WAP, MMS, and mobile video systems.
This person will also design and oversee the development of technologies used internally that will enable NBCU to launch new mobile services more rapidly and with greater automation and lower cost.
This person will interface with NBCU Media Works technologists and technology partners to deliver mobile solutions for all NBCU business units including NBC, NBCU Cable Networks, Universal Studios, NBC Owned & Operated Stations and NBCU Television Distribution.
QUALIFICATIONS:

At least three years experience within media technology

A minimum of two years of experience with digital video encoding and compression standards, web-based communication/storage technologies

At least two years of experience leading large-scale software development projects such as Internet-based database applications and should possess deep understanding of the requirements for supporting such applications including scalability, concurrency, fault-tolerance and reusability

At least two years of experience working directly with customers, from capturing requirements to managing delivery and acceptance of solutions

A minimum of two years of experience successfully managing a project within budgetary and time constraints

At least two years of experience building and managing project plans and architecture diagrams

Must have a strong aptitude for reading technical documentation and be able to formulate integration plans based on that documentation.
