Sensei: Director, Digital Marketing (Boca Raton, FL)
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sensei has designed and built a personal health and wellness platform that integrates the internet and mobile technology. Core to the approach is changing behaviors through the use of advanced technology; mobile phones, the internet, wireless sensors. We provide our consumers with personalized information, monitoring and consultative services related to weight loss, fitness, behavior modification and disease management. Through their subscription, customers define their goals, what motivates them and what needs they have. The customer then has customized interactive access to personalized health and wellness information via mobile phones with attachable biometric devices and web-based applications.
We are looking for an innovative, creative, entrepreneurial individual with a get up, go, and get it done attitude. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this individual will be accountable for Sensei’s online, community and direct response marketing. High level responsibilities of this key contributor include:

Working with senior management and our advertising agency to define the strategic plan for digital marketing and managing the execution of that plan

Design and develop revenue-generating direct marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition, monetization, and retention.

Analyze results and recommend changes to maximize customer acquisition and ROI
-
Collaborate extensively with marketing, product and community teams to create a robust managed online community and develop/execute direct & viral marketing programs
-
Guide and manage all web 2.0 related marketing activities (blog, community sites, etc.)
At a more detailed level, we expect this individual to be involved in the following type of projects on a daily basis:
Digital and Interactive Marketing

Identify, evaluate, and implement online marketing programs to support traffic, conversion and revenue goals
-
Leverage existing and new partnerships to expand our web presence through reciprocal links and other strategies
-
Manage the implementation, execution and maintenance of website content and promotions
-
Initiate efforts to increase site traffic through search engine registration, content optimization, site link exchanges and other techniques
-
Drive new customer acquisition volume through keyword advertising in search engines; ad banner placement; and other techniques
-
Conduct analysis of site traffic for optimal content development and site usability
-
Maintain relationships with Tier I SEM sales representatives to learn about new products and services
-
Implement new search tools, technology, and engines such that search efforts continue to increase in effectiveness

Manage SEM buys
-
Monitor performance through tracking, reporting and analytical tools including URL tracking and response measurements.

Make recommendations for design and page flow enhancements based on analysis of usage patterns
-
Conduct comparative analysis of online marketing and interactive communications programs
-
Monitor daily budgets and ensure summary reports are maintained
-
Assist with department expense budget and tracking related to campaigns managed.

Ad hoc projects and analysis as required
Direct Mail and Email Campaigns
-
Act as point of contact with vendors to develop and execute ongoing direct mail programs and ensure all timelines are met

Oversee maintenance of direct mail database
-
Evaluate and make recommendations on database acquisition
-
Oversee preparation of artwork for print for mail shop/print vendors and ensure accuracy. (Proofreading is a key function in this position to ensure all mail goes out error-free.)

Coordinate and maintain direct mail instructions and schedule details

Email list management and development
-
Optimize email and direct mail marketing campaigns by creating summary reports and suggesting improvements on creative direction, campaign objectives, messaging, testing and measurement
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Solid understanding of the digital media space
-
5+ years experience in interactive consumer marketing required
-
Experience designing, executing and tracking consumer marketing programs.

Experience in Direct Mail, Email, Banner Ads, Natural Search and Paid Search campaigns
-
Experience with analysis of marketing metrics
-
Experience with quantitative evaluations of planned and completed marketing efforts
-
Experience establishing media test methodologies and analyzing test results experience in quantitative analysis

2+ years experience working with Google Analytics and other search engine analytic tools
-
Experience managing online media traffic, ad campaigns, and ad partnerships; traffic reporting and campaign analysis, maintain comparisons against key competitors/comparables and industry wide trend analysis.
