For more information, visit www.openmarket.com POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Carrier Relations, the Carrier Relations Manager will cultivate, develop and manage executive level relationships to advance OpenMarket’s business partnerships and programs with mobile operators. The Carrier Relations Manager will be responsible for facilitating and supporting the Carrier Relations Organization and its daily activities. The Carrier Relations Manager will be required to: • Multi-task • Build and manage relationships • Solve problems • Assist with driving OpenMarket’s strategy relating to carriers • Assist with management of all aspects of the Carrier Relations Department MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Support Director of Carrier Relations in all aspects of carrier relations business • Manage strategic business relationships with mobile operators and other types of network operators • Develop industry thought leadership materials in collaboration with Product Management, Marketing, OpenMarket leadership team and Director of Carrier Relations to differentiate OpenMarket with carriers • Represent OpenMarket at industry events and in industry groups when required • Coordinate contract execution with OpenMarket Legal and OpenMarket administrative staff • Represent Carrier Relations on carrier program provisioning calls • Assist with creating and executing on Carrier Relations planning of projects • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management on product and industry messaging, efforts with carriers • Manage carrier regular weekly contact schedule • Coordinate quarterly carrier meetings, attend meetings nationwide • Conduct quarterly carrier contract review • Coordinate carrier and partner contract negotiation with Director of Carrier Relations • Track carrier program policies and compliance • Track projects within Carrier Relations and ensure follow up • Manage project timelines internally and externally • Manage and track master carrier issues/status document • Manage carrier problems, questions, ensure follow up in a timely manner • Own carrier matrix of connections, services and specific efforts • Help create messaging to carriers representing OpenMarket’s relationship objectives • Learn and be able to talk knowledgably about the OpenMarket service and industry • Provide timely and accurate feedback to internal Product and Marketing teams • Facilitate relationship with Carrier Integration and Carrier Provisioning team with weekly meetings/conference calls; produce meeting recap and follow up


QUALIFICATIONS:



ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: • A minimum of 5+ years of customer facing account management/project management/program management experience • Wireless industry experience required • Mobile messaging and commerce experience strongly preferred • Advanced organizational skills EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Bachelors or similar from an accredited 4 year university • Work experience in relationship development in the mobile/telecom market ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • Based in Seattle, Washington • Travel 40% (domestic travel)
