General Function (Description):
Air2Web is the leading global provider of wireless managed services and content gateway for carriers and enterprises and is headquartered in Buckhead of Atlanta, Georgia, easily accessible via the Marta transportation system. Air2Web is currently seeking an enthusiastic, professional Project Manager to join our Client Services team. 

The Senior Project Manager has overall responsibility of managing 3+ major client relationships and the delivery of projects.  Responsibilities will vary based on client situation.

Essential responsibilities include:

  • Present project status, manage the project change process, manage client expectations, escalate issues that impact timing or budget as appropriate, obtain additional resources as needed, and identify opportunities for follow-on work or new project.
  • Manage highly complex technical aspects with assigned customers.
  • Maintain regular communication with assigned customer groups and carriers.
  • Establish and maintain key technical/business contacts.
  • Manage internal resources that contribute to customer projects.
  • Create projects and work directly with developers and other team members to track progress, identify and resolve issues, and look for ways to accelerate delivery.
  • Definition of project scope during the proposal process. Confirmation of project scope during the initial stage of the project.
  • Estimating/budgeting for the project during the proposal process (resource hours, all project costs - capital & labor, project schedule).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to manage projects from inception to delivery
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate industry specific guidelines (ie., MMA)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Minimum Hiring Standards:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in MIS, computer science, or business related field
Experience: 7-10 years of project management experience
Additional Required Qualifications: Willingness to travel (up to 15%)
